I stuffed an amazing 22 stockings for this year's fandom stocking (amazing for me anyway). Part of the reason is because I just started playing around making icons in GIMP and was able to stuff a lot more stockings than if I had just stuck to fic (given I hadn't written in about a year :(

Anyway, as with 2017 I wrote 8 fic/drabbles. I wrote for 5 fandoms I hadn't written for previously: Master and Commander (film), TURN: Washington's Spies, Reservoir Dogs, Pirates of the Caribbean and Safe House (2012 film). In addition, I FINALLY wrote Logan/Rogue (X-Men films). 

Always - Resident Evil (films) - Alice/Claire - Claire, the light to Alice’s inner guilt and grief and darkness. The light leading her to an eventual way out of this world, guiding her to mold it into something better.

Fated - X-Men (films) - Logan/Rogue - Mutant teens like her would joke about it but the professors would get quiet every time it was mentioned, how soul mates existed and how sometimes they found each other, and Rogue wondered…

No One Loves You As I Do - Master and Commander (film) - Jack/Stephen - Stephen sulks and Jack ponders while they both enjoy the retreating view.

The Real Reason - Fantastic Four (2005-2007 films) - Ben/Johnny -

As Reed had told him more than once: ‘You offered for him to move in with you, you deal with him, Ben.’

Or, Ben panics over and mothers and even indulges a sick Johnny.

A Pirate's Life For Us - Pirates of the Caribbean - Jack/Will/Elizabeth -

Going back isn’t always so easy, or so willing on the part of the person being brought back.

The Dutchman’s curse on Will is broken and Jack and Elizabeth are left to pick up the pieces.

Human - Safe House (2012 film) - Matt Weston/Tobin Frost - “You’re a better man than me, Matt,” Frost whispered and Matt grasped those words, pulled them over him like a blanket long craved.

Getting in Too Deep - Reservoir Dogs - Mr. White/Mr. Orange -

White loves watching him eat, loves the sounds he makes, the ones he’s trying to hide now that they have company but never bothers when it’s just the two of them.

Or: Five times Orange ate junk food and one time White made sure he ate a decent meal.

Major Benjamin Tallmadge's Day Off - TURN: Washington's Spies - Ben/Caleb -

“I’ll keep you in this tent if I have to.”

Or: Caleb really wants to get into Ben’s bed.

In addition, I stuffed 14 stockings with various icons, mainly MCU characters/pairings/friendships (Tony Stark, Stephen Strange, Loki, Heimdall, Valkyrie, Pepper, Gamora, Tony/Pepper, Pepper/Natasha, Nakia & Ross, Shuri & Ross, Tony & Stephen, Tony & Rhodey, Thor & Heimdall, Loki & Valkyrie), but also Ethan/Dorian from Penny Dreadful, Sherlock & John from Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes films and Sherlock & Joan from Elementary. I had LOADS of fun playing around with gradients, etc. in GIMP and plan to get better this year with practice. I would LOVE to be able to make banners, playlist covers, etc., so we'll see how it goes.
