I watched Oblivion yesterday and it was okay. I mean, I really adore Tom Cruise and he's one of the incredibly few actors that has never been in a movie I've hated... and I am very picky on movies, but the film wasn't as fantastic as people said it was. It reminded me a lot of Moon, you know, that amazingly haunting movie with Sam Rockwell and with a kick-ass instrumental soundtrack to boot (that one that's always stuck in my head), it's just that Moon did it better and did it first. I wouldn't go chase this movie down, but if you're looking for something sorta thought provoking or at least something sci-fi, then you can't go wrong.
This morning I just watched Begin Again, which I need to immediately go back and re-watch because that's how good it was. I really didn't expect to like this movie at all, but Mark Ruffalo was so charming as a drunken record producer who's sorta fallen out of life, and Keira Knightley was beautiful and also charming as a singer-songwriter. Adam Levine can also really act and the music in the film is addictive. Definitely recommend this one if you can find it.
Also watching Season 6 of the Vampire Diaries, which, even with Ric, isn't as good as Season 5 or Season 7 (the last of which I watched the first few episodes). Although, this season I am really loving Damon and Bonnie, which is odd because I never used to like Bonnie, sorta like Damon.
Still obsessing over Season 10 of Supernatural and Season 5 of The Walking Dead.
Soon, I will be re-watching Season 1 and 2 of The Originals and re-watching Season 2 of Penny Dreadful.
On the list: Ray Donovan Season 2 and 3, Sons of Anarchy Season 1+
